Java Developer
Your tasks include
- software design and modelling, programming of applications and application parts for web and desktop applications in Java
- as well as integration/interface programming between Java applications
We expect from you
- Java Experience (Java SCP Level)
- Experience with State of the Art Sofware Engineering Tools (e.g. Eclipse, Maven, JUnit, SVN)
- Experience with ORM Tools (e.g. Hibernate)
- Experience in Web-Frontend Development (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
- Openness and drive to learn new things
- Interest in improving yourself and your environment
What`s a plus
- Search Engine/Information Retrieval Experience (Lucene, Solr, GATE)
- Web Application Frameworks (Apache Wicket)
- Experience with XP or Scrum
- Experience/Specialisation/Interest in one or several of the following areas is welcome:
- Information extraction, text analysis
- Machine learning
- Semantic Web Technologies
- Knowledge-based Systems
- Web-Portals
- Web2.0 Applications
